What is Dianette?

How does it work?

If you forget to take one or two pills, you’ll still be protected from pregnancy and you should take a Dianette pill and continue the pack as usual. Missing three or more pills means Dianette won’t work properly, so you should continue taking pills as usual but use another contraceptive for a week.
Are there any side effects?
Using Dianette will expose you to a risk of developing side effects associated with ‘the pill’, such as nausea, headaches and vomiting. The common side effect specific to Dianette is changes in weight. There are a couple of uncommon side effects of Dianette, including yellow-brown patches on skin and a reduced libido.
If you do develop side effects, they are usually mild and should disappear as your body becomes used to the hormones.
