How to Order
Our order process is designed to be the safest and most convenient way to get a prescription and place an order for medication that will be delivered directly to your door.
If you’ve never ordered medication online before, you may wonder just how this service works. It always starts with a patient registration and a confidential consultation. Once this has been completed, we’ll guide you through every step of the order process. Our Patient Support Team is available during office hours to answer any questions you may have.
To ensure your safety, there are a few more steps to the ordering process than standard checkout procedures, but this is essential because it allows us to make the necessary checks so we only prescribe mediation that’s safe for you to use.
How does it work?
Step 1: Registration
The first thing you’ll need to do is complete the registration process so you can gain access to the patient’s area. You will be asked to create a password and enter your contact details, including address, email and mobile number, all of which will be kept strictly confidential.
Step 2: Consultation
During the consultation you’ll be asked some general medical questions and some questions relating directly to your condition. It’s important that you answer these questions as accurately and in as much detail as possible, so our doctors can make an accurate diagnosis.
This process is free of charge and you are under no obligation to place an order.
Step 3: Diagnosis and recommendation
Once you’ve completed the consultation, it will be passed on to our team of registered doctors. They will review the information you’ve provided and recommend treatments according to their diagnosis.
When a doctor has reached their decision you will:
A - Receive an email and/or text message to notify you that you can login to the patient’s area, where you will be able to view and order from the range of medications recommended for you.
B - Receive a notification that you aren’t suitable to use the particular treatment you had in mind. This could be because using this medication could put your health at risk, or because you’re already taking medications that will interact negatively with this treatment.
C - Receive an email or phone call from our Patient Support Team if the doctor feels that more information is needed for them to make a sufficient diagnosis.
Step 4: Select treatment
When you login to view your account, you’ll be able to view the treatment(s) and dose(s) that have been recommended by the doctor, along with their prices. At this stage you will be able to select the quantity you’d like to order and proceed to the delivery and payment section.
If you’re unsure about the amount you should order, you can contact us or visit the medication page and read the ‘How do I take it?’ section.
Step 5: Delivery and billing information
Once you’ve made a decision, you’ll be asked to check if your delivery address and contact details are correct. You will also be given the opportunity to select the most convenient delivery service for you. Click here to learn about the different delivery options available.
Step 6: Payment details
This is the penultimate part of the process, where you’ll need to provide payment details and a billing address. We have several payment options available, which can be viewed here.
We accept payment by:
- Credit/Debit card
- Cheque
- Postal order
- Bank transfer
- PayPoint
Step 7: Shipping and delivery
Once you’ve placed your order, your prescription will be sent to our registered pharmacy which will dispense your medication. The batch numbers will be double-checked before the medication is packaged in discreet boxes and courier envelopes so it can be dispatched for delivery. There will be no mention of HealthExpress, or the contents of the package, on the box or courier envelope, which helps guarantee your privacy.
Step 8: You order is delivered
We deliver medications to most international destinations for free. We have more details on our delivery information page. We’ll send you an email and/or text message with your tracking number, which allows you to monitor the progress of your delivery online.
You must sign for all deliveries from HealthExpress, so we recommend you arrange for someone to be at the delivery address at the specified time of delivery.
Orders are usually held at your local mailing depot for a limited time if delivery can’t be made. Our couriers will leave calling cards so you can arrange for the medication to be re-delivered or held so you can collect the package from the depot.
